Özi Province

Özi Province was an Ottoman province (vilayet) which included the territory of the former Principality of Karvuna (Dobrogea) and from 1484 until 1812 also the sanjaks of Ottoman Bessarabia or roughly modern-day Bugeac. The province capital of Özi is now modern Ochakov. After 1812, Özi was known as Silistre vilayet.
