1904/5 South African cricket season

The 1904/5 South African cricket season was the fourteenth season of first-class cricket in South Africa. There were no first-class touring teams, and all first-class matches were played for the Currie Cup. There was a change in format of the Cup in this year to deal with the introduction of more competing teams, most notably Rhodesia.

Transvaal beat Rhodesia by an innings and 170 runs to progress to the Final of the Currie Cup
Final - Western Province v Transvaal (24-27 March)
Transvaal beat Western Province by 165 runs to retain the Currie Cup
