The A488 is a route on the UK highway network that runs from Penybont, near Llandrindod Wells, in Wales, to Shrewsbury, Shropshire, in England. On the way it passes through Knighton, Clun, Bishop's Castle and Pontesbury.
In Clun the A488 crosses the ancient Clun Bridge. The route is very rural.
