Acrylic fibers are a strong and mouldable plastic that is a thermoplastic. It is easily mouldable once heat is applied and is a good plastic for anything that needs to be crafted. To be called acryclic, the polymer must contain at least 85% acrylonitrile. Cloth composed in large part of acrylic fibers is often called simply "acrylic".
