Agrarian society

An Agrarian society is one that is based on agriculture as its prime means for support and sustenance. The society acknowledges other means of livelihood and work habits but stresses on agriculture and farming. This has been or can be implemented successfully only in countries that have good farming lands. This was the belief of Pol Pot, autonomous leader of Cambodia from 1975 to 1979.
