List of Brisbane railway stations

AirTrain is the name given to the rail service connecting the Domestic and International Terminals of Brisbane Airport to central Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, and also to the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.

Brisbane city stations are South Brisbane, Roma Street, Central and Brunswick Street.

The railway line is both elevated and single track for much of its length.

AirTrain services run every fifteen minutes during the morning and afternoon weekday peak hours to the Domestic and International Terminals of the Brisbane Airport from the Brisbane city stations, and run every half hour during the off-peak. A service, around every half hour regardless of time of day, continues through to the Gold Coast.

The AirTrain is under joint public/private control. It connects with the CityTrain rail network and uses CityTrain rolling stock. Although it utilises CityTrain rollingstock such as the IMU sets, AirTrain does not form part of the TransLink integrated public transport service, and therefore use of its service requires users to pay more. It costs $11 each way to use the service from stations between South Bank and Eagle Junction. Concession fares are not offered, however child fares apply.

As of 21 April 2005, Brisbane Airports Corporation announced that the AirTrain service would be running at a profit for the first time, due to passenger growth and managerial restructuring of the operator. This has not stopped calls for the service to be brought within the TransLink price structure, which would mean a service nearly four times cheaper.
