Aklet, the time of the inudation (flooding) was a season of the year in Ancient Egypt.

The season of Aklet began about the 20th June with the rising of the Nile, and ended in mid November when the waters receded. During this time ancient Egyptian farmers would tend to their fields, ensuring water and fertile silt covered the lands.
