Alexandria is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.
Alexandria is a largely industrial inner-city suburb of Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. It is approximately 2 kilometres south of Central Station.
Alexandria has a small residential section along the northern boundary of the suburb, adjoining Erskineville and Waterloo. The remainder of the suburb is devoted to light industry and warehousing. The Green Square precinct, in the north east of the suburb, has been undergoing redevelopment for medium-high density housing and office blocks.
The rough boundaries of Alexandria are Botany Road to the east, Gardeners Road to the south, Mitchell Road and Sydney Park to the West, and Henderson Road to the north.
