Allan Williams
From Freepedia
Former Liverpool businessman and promoter; original manager (or more accurately: booking agent) of The Beatles, who sent the young band to Hamburg, Germany, where they gained vital show business experience.
Also author of the memoir The Man who Gave the Beatles Away, and responsible for locating the band's "Hamburg Tape" (issued as Live at the Star Club: 1962), recorded New Year's Eve 1963 (actually after they'd left his management).
Allan was never The Beatles' manager in the sense that this term is normally understood, there was no contract for example as there was later with Brian Epstein.
