Amaryllis |
Amaryllidaceae is a family of flowering plants with over 800 species in about 60 genera. The Amaryllidaceae include both evergreen and deciduous herbaceous perennials that grow from bulbs, with a number of genera commonly grown in gardens, including:
- Amaryllis, the Belladonna Lily or Naked Lady
- Clivia, formerly called Kaffir lily
- Galanthus, Snowdrop
- Hippeastrum, commonly sold as Amaryllis or Christmas Amaryllis.
- Hymenocallis, Peruvian Daffodil
- Leucojum, Snowflake
- Lycoris, Spider Lily
- Narcissus, Daffodil, Jonquil, and Narcissus
