America is the name of a village in the Dutch municipality Horst aan de Maas, in the province of Limburg. It gives rise to jokingly confusing remarks (but note that the name of the continents is spelled "Amerika" in Dutch). See also List of interesting or unusual place names. The village has a population of 2,170 (2004).

The most famous export product of the village America is probably the Tex-Mex band Rowwen Hèze.
