Antechinus

A small, rat-like creature, sometimes called an antechinus shrew, indigenous to Australia. It is a species in which the males are famous for going on a sex-crazed rampage during a certain part of their lives, during which time they would not eat, only producing testosterone. After only a few months they die in order to create the next generation.
