Area code 407

The 407 area code formerly covered a large portions of east-central and southeast Florida, and originally came from area code 305 down to Miami. Major portions of it have since been split off into other area codes, including West Palm Beach (now area code 561) and the remainder (now area code 772). Orlando is now the only area that has 407. Part was overlaid by area code 321, making it the first to be divided with a hybrid split/overlay.
