The area code (784) is the local telephone area code of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The (784) area code, or "(SVG)" was created during a split from the original (809) area code which was done on or around the date June, 1998.
When in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, use the seven digits alone. When calling to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines from anywhere in the United States or Canada simply dial 1(784) + seven digit phone number.
