Arthur Hiller

Arthur Hiller (born November 22, 1923 in Edmonton, Alberta) is a Canadian film director.
Hiller began his show business career in television in the 1950's and was a succesful television director before moving into films. Hiller served as President of the Director's Guild of America from 1989 to 1993 and President of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences from 1993 to 1997.
