Five United States Navy ships have borne the name USS Atlanta, after the city of Atlanta, Georgia:
- The first USS Atlanta (1861) was originally a blockade runner, then the CSS Atlanta, then captured in 1863 and taken into the Federal Navy.
- The second USS Atlanta (1884) was a protected cruiser, one of the first steel ships of the "New Navy", launched in 1884.
- The third USS Atlanta (CL-51) was commissioned in 1941 and sunk in November 1942 in the Naval Battle of Guadalcanal.
- The fourth USS Atlanta (CL-104) was commissioned in 1944, served in World War II, then in the 1960s was used for target practice.
- The fifth USS Atlanta (SSN-712) was a Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine commissioned 1982 and inactivated 1999.
