Bardejov

Bardejov (German: Bartfeld, Hungarian: Bártfa) is a city in the north of Slovakia. It has about 33,000 inhabitants and lies in Šariš. The city, mentioned for the first time in 1241, exhibits numerous cultural monuments in its completely intact medieval town centre, in particular the St. Aegidius church of 1247 and the city hall built in 1505. The city is one of UNESCO's World Heritage Sites.
