Bhiwandi

Bhiwandi is an industrial township northeast of Mumbai known for its textile mills and infamous for its communal riots. It has a large immigrant and Muslim population. The total population numbers at 598,703 people since the 2001 census of the Bhiwandi-Nizampur Municipal Corporation area.
