Brazilian Aerospace Technical Center (CTA)

The Brazilian Aerospace Technical Center (Centro Técnico Aerospacial - CTA) is the national military research center for aviation and space flight of the Federative Republic of Brazil and subordinated to the Brazilian Air Force.

It coordinates all technical and scientific activities related to aerospace sector in which are interest of the Brazilian Ministry of Defense. It was founded in 1953. It aggregates thousands of civilian and military employees.

It comprises four institutes within its campus:

CTA also is responsible for the Brazilian Aerospace Museum (Memorial Aerospacial Brasileiro - MAB).

It is located in São José dos Campos, SP, Brazil.
