Brendan O'Brien is a record producer, engineer and mixer who has worked with many bands, including Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, King's X, Bob Dylan, Neil Young, Aerosmith, The Wallflowers, Matthew Sweet, Limp Bizkit, Lifehouse, Red Hot Chili Peppers, KoЯn, Rage Against The Machine, The Black Crowes, Aimee Mann, Bruce Springsteen, The Offspring, Incubus and Soundgarden. He is generally thought of as one of the most important music producers of the 1990s.

He was a member of the band The Georgia Satellites in the 1980s, and went on to head the Epic Records imprint 57 Records.
