Philadelphia Pennsylvania, USA has a vibrant craft beer community.

Breweries in or around Philadelphia Yards - (www.yardsbrewing.com) is Philadelphia's oldest microbrewery, having been established in 1994. They are located in the Kensington neighborhood in what was an old brewery. Their beers include their flaghship English-style ESA (Extra Special Ale), Love Stout, Philadelphia Pale Ale. Seasonal beers include Saison and Trubbel de Yards.

Flying Fish - (www.flyingfish.com) located in Cherry Hill. Flying Fish is the 2nd largest brewery in New Jersey. Their regular beers include XPA (Extra Pale Ale), Porter, Abbey Dubbel and ESB. Popular seasonals inlude Farmhouse Summer Ale, Grand Cru Winter Ale.

Victory - (www.victorybeer.com) located in Downingtown PA, Victory is the area's most successful brewery. Their most popular beers include Hop Devil IPA, Golden Monkey Triple, Prima Pils. Popular seaonsals include Whirlwind Wit, Old Horizonal Barely Wine, Storm King Stout, Moonglow Weizenbock, Sunrise Weiss, Sunset Dunkelweise, Workhorse Porter, Uncle Teddy's Bitter, and ESB to name a few.

Weyerbacher - (www.weyerbacher.com) located in Easton PA, Weyerbacher has had good success with their strong beers including a Quad, Imperial Stout, Raspberry Imperial Stout, Blithering Idiot Barley Wine. They also may a variety of regular octane beers including Autumnfest and Wit.

Dogfish Head - (www.dogfish.com) located in Milton DE, Dogfish Head has achieved international acclaim for their unique and playful line-up of beers. Their regular line-up includes Chicory Stout, Rasion d'Etra, 60 Minute IPA and Shelter Pale Ale. Specialty beers include Olde School Barley Wine, 90 Minute IPA, 120 Minute IPA, Midas Touch, Liquor de Malt, Bourban Baton and many others.

Other breweries include Sly Fox, General Lafayette, Iron Hill, Heavyweight, Manayunk, Nodding Head.

Philadelphia also has some world-class bars that specialize in various types of beer.
