- CODA - a software company that provides best-of-class, finance-based management information solutions. These include award-winning accounting and procurement systems linked to a suite of complementary applications that support finance, reporting and analytic processes across the organization. CODA is also co-sponsor of Extreme-Accounting, along with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, CIMA.
- CODA (an acronym for CEBAF on-line data acquisition, where CEBAF is an acronym for continuous electron beam accelerator facility) is a data acquisition system mainly used for nuclear physics, developed beginning in the late 1980s at the Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility ("Jefferson Lab") and first introduced in the Ultrix operating system but also available in embedded systems using VxWorks.

- CODA is also an acronym for Child of Deaf Adult. It infers that the 'CODA' has a dual-identiy between Deaf and Hearing cultures. A similar term 'KODA', refers to Kids of Deaf Adult, and refers to CODA's under the age of 18.
