Callander, Ontario

The Municipality of Callander (formerly the Township of North Himsworth) is a township in central Ontario, Canada located at the southeast end of Lake Nipissing in the District of Parry Sound. The Municipality was named for the main community of Callander, located on Callander Bay and is a southern suburb of North Bay.


According to the Canada 2001 Census:

  • Dwellings: 1,415
  • Area (sq. km.): 100.96
  • Density (persons per sq. km.): 31.5
