Candace Pert

Candace Beebe Pert (born 19th December 1946) is the author of Molecules of Emotion and the neuroscientist who discovered the opiate receptor in the brain. She also appeared as one of the "experts" in Bill Moyers 1993 PBS video production, "Healing and the Mind", and in the controversial 2004 film What the #$*! Do We Know!?.
