Captain Cook Highway

Captain Cook Highway is a short highway that starts in Cairns and ends in Daintree more than 150km away.
Captain Cook Highway is used by many tourist to travel to Port Douglas north of Cairns. Apart from being a vital link between two tourist locations, Captain Cook Highway is a magnificant highway that winds it way along side the coast of the tropical seaside rainforest heading towards Port Douglas and Daintree. Travelling along Captain Cook Highway is a lifetime experiance and it is highly recommended to at least just drive up to Daintree to enjoy the seaside experiance.
