Caribbean South America

Northern South America or, more creatively, Caribbean South America is a region of South America consisting of the South American nations that border the Caribbean Sea; namely:
- Colombia
- Venezuela
- Guyana
- Suriname
- French Guiana – an Overseas Department and an Overseas Region of France.
Due to the region's closeness to the equator, its climate is very tropical.
