Cathedral school

In medieval europe, cathedral schools were schools operated by cathedrals, typically having fewer than 100 students. They generally functioned as seminaries to train future priests, but also accepted other students. Often they would also teach members of the cathedral choir.

Examples of cathedral schools include King's School, previously the school of Canterbury Cathedral.
