Cherry 2000 is a classic science fiction feminist comedy made in 1987. The film is about Sam Treadwell's (David Andrews) search for the perfect sex machine, the "Cherry 2000" android, enlisting E. (Edith) Johnson (Melanie Griffith), a tough pathfinding tracker who guides him into the interior of America's mental and spiritual junkyards. Pamela Gidley plays the titular role of Cherry 2000.
