Christie was a British pop band formed at the end of the 1960s.

They produced catchy pop-country songs and were labelled as the British answer to Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Their debut single Yellow River was a hit in various countries of the world. The group followed it up with several other commercial hits, including San Bernadino, Iron Horse and Man of Many Faces. The song Jo Jo's Band, penned by the lead guitarist Vic Elmes, was a chart-topper in Argentina and Brazil, while the last Christie hit, Navajo, went to number 1 in Mexico.

Most of the songs were written by lead singer Jeff Christie, who still writes songs today.
