Concordia, Antarctica

Concordia Research Station is a newly constructed facility located at 75° S 123° E, on Dome C, Antarctic Plateau, Antarctica. It is operated by scientists from France and Italy.

Located at the station is a highly accurate astronomical observatory. Researchers live in an experimental facility called Dome C (also known as Dome Charlie). The technology of the research station is expected to be applied to space exploration in the future.
