Corbin Bernsen is an American actor born on September 7, 1954 in Los Angeles, California. His father is Jewish and his mother, actress Jeanne Cooper, is of Cherokee Native American ancestry.
He starred in the TV show L.A. Law from 1986 until the show's end in 1994.
He is the son of The Young and the Restless actress Jeanne Cooper. Since 2004, he has played the recurring role of "John Durant" on General Hospital. He is married to British actress Amanda Pays, by whom he has 4 children.
Currently he is involved with Public Media Works who is releasing their first feature film Carpool Guy which is being released on DVD in 2005.
He is a born-again Christian who also appears in Christian-themed films and programmes.
