CpuIdle

CpuIdle is a program that turns off the CPU when idle. This in turn is meant to lower the CPU temperature and reduce power consumption. A computer's CPU temperature must be kept cool (below 50°C) to avoid problems. This program is not a replacement for proper CPU cooling techniques such as using a proper heatsink, cooling fan etc.
