Criciúma

Criciúma is one of the major cities in the Brazilian state of Santa Catarina, located 180 km south of Florianópolis, the state's capital. The city is the center of the flooring and home materials industry in the country, the 2nd-largest center in the world.
The city has an approximate population of 175,000 habitants and an area of 209.8 km². It was founded on January 6, 1880.
