Though the company makes no medical guarantees as to the product's effectiveness, a number of scientific studies have been done which do indicate the products effectiveness (similar to many plant products) as an antioxidant, with all of the inherent health benefits of an antioxidant.

Multi-Level Marketing
Due to the notoriety of Herbalife and the widespread abusive marketing campaigns of its distributors, Vision Inc. may at first appear to operate via multi-level marketing. At closer review however it should be noted that Vision Inc. in actuality employs a modified franchising system in its business model wherein a large number of distributors remain actual employees of the corporation, thus avoiding the MLM label and the abuse prevalent with its use.
