East Jakarta (Jakarta Timur) is a kota (formerly kotamadya) of Jakarta, Indonesia.

East Jakarta is bounded by North Jakarta to the north, Bekasi to the east, Depok to the east, and South Jakarta and Central Jakarta to the west.
