Embu-Guaçu is a municipality in the state of São Paulo in Brazil. The population in 2003 is 63,274 and the area is 155 km² The elevation is 408.22 m.

Given that is within very short distance from são paulo (less than 1 hour drive), Embu became a popular weekend destination from paulistas looking for hand craft art pieces, and furniture.
