Finsteraarhorn is the highest
mountain in the
Bernese Alps range of the
Swiss Alps and the highest mountain in the
Bernese Oberland. It is the
third most prominent peak in the Alps.
The
first ascent of Finsteraarhorn was made in
1829 by a party led by Franz Hugi.
