Florence Nibart-Devouard

Florence Nibart-Devouard (born 1968) is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Wikimedia Foundation, the parent organisation of Wikipedia, Wiktionary, Wikiquote, Wikibooks, Wikisource, In Memoriam 9/11, Wikimedia Commons, Wikispecies, Wikinews, and Nupedia (defunct).
Nibart-Devouard was born in Versailles in France. She grew up in Grenoble, and has been living since then in several French cities, as well as Antwerp in Belgium and in Arizona in the United States. As of 2005, she resides in Clermont-Ferrand in France. She is married, with two children.
Nibart-Devouard is an engineer in agronomy at ENSAIA ([1] and also holds a DEA in genetics and biotechnologies from INPL ([2]). She has been working in public research, first in flower plant genetic improvement, and second in microbiology to study the feasibility of polluted soil bioremediation. She is currently employed in a French firm, to conceive decision-making tools in sustainable agriculture.
