Fojnica

Fojnica is a town in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located west of Kiseljak and Sarajevo. It lies in the valley of the Fojnička river, tributary of Bosna. It is administratively part of the Central Bosnia Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In 1991 the population of Fojnica municipality was 16,227, of which 49.36% Bosniaks, 40.91% Croats, 0.95% Serbs, 2.44% Yugoslavs and 6.34% others. The town itself had 6,444 residents: 45% Croats, 41% Bosniaks, 5% Yugoslavs, 2% Serbs and 7% others.


There is also a village named Fojnica in Bosnia and Hercegovina, located on left side of Bosna river, between towns Maglaj and Zavidovići.
