Galatsi (Greek, Modern: Γαλάτσι, Ancient/Katharevousa: -on), older spellings Galatsio, Galatsion, is a suburb in the northern part of Athens, Greece. Galatsi is located about 5 km N of Athens from a SW to NE avenue linking Patissia. It is located about 1.5 km from Patissi, about 4 km SE of Kifissou Avenue which is part of GR-1/E75, SW of Attiki Odos (65) and the Olympic Stadium and about 3 to 4 km W of Kifissias Avenue.

The area was made up of farmlands and some forests dominated the area. The area was of mixed farming which included pastures, vegetables and groves. In the mid-20th century, suburban housing developments from Athens came over and replaced with urban developments in which today, the remaining Athens' nearest farms is situated in a hill in the east. It is the only house left and is a sheep farm. And in the north and northeast where the hills are located. Residential areas are situated in the west, the northwest, the south and the east.

The hill name Tourkovouna are in the northeast and is crossed by an avenue in the southern part. The hill has some forests but is made up of some grasslands. The Alsos Veikou forests lies to the western part.
