Garberville a small town in Southern Humboldt County, California, United States. It is approximately 200 miles north of San Francisco, California and withen hiking distance of Humboldt Redwoods State Park. the first settlers arrived in 1853. In the 1960s, hippies from Haight Ashbury came here to Garberville and grew their own crops. The town still attracts alternative people and environmentalists trying to protect the redwood forests.
