Gdańsk Agreement

The Gdańsk Agreement was a strike that took place in Gdańsk, Poland in which workers up and down the Baltic coast joined the revolution “in Solidarity”. They demanded the right to form free trade unions, the right to strike, freedom of speech, the release of political prisoners, and economic reforms. The strike took place August 1980.
