Image:Georgepbush.jpg George Prescott Bush (born April 24, 1976) is the eldest of three children of Florida governor Jeb Bush. Consequently, he is also the nephew of President George W. Bush and the grandson of former President George H. W. Bush.
His mother, Columba, was born in Mexico, and his Hispanic heritage has made him a popular figure with Hispanic voters. Bush has an undergraduate degree from Rice University and earned a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Texas in 2003. He married a law school classmate, Amanda Williams, in August 2004. He works in Dallas for the law firm Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
He campaigned for his uncle during the 2000 presidential campaign, and also spoke at the 2004 Republican National Convention.
He has widely been considered as a future candidate for political office despite his criminal record, and even occasionally as a long-term candidate for President, although he would not be eligible to run for president until the 2012 election, and would likely not run for considerably longer after that. He is also known as perhaps the most successful member of his generation of the Bush family, in contrast to brother Jeb Bush, Jr., younger sister Noelle Bush, and his first cousins, the Bush Twins.
While a Rice University student, Bush was a member of Jones College. Amongst his contributions to Jones, he was an outstanding player on the intramural football team.
On December 31, 1994, Bush showed up at 4:00 AM at the Miami home of a former girlfriend. He broke into the house through the woman's bedroom window. After entering the home, he argued with his ex's father. Bush fled the scene, but he returned 20 minutes later and drove his SUV across the home's front lawn. [1]
