Gerard Sagredo
From Freepedia
Gerard Sagredo (also Gellért, c. 980 – 1046) was a bishop in Hungary of Italian origin, who educated Emeric of Hungary, the son of Saint Stephen of Hungary. He had a major role in converting the country to Christianity, and was martyred on a hill in Budapest which is today named after him (see Gellérthegy, Gellért fürdő). He was canonized in 1083 and is currently among the patron saints of the country.
