The Kingdom of Crystal (or Glasriket is Swedish) is an area in the Municipalities of Sweden consisting of a total of 11 glassworks in Emmaboda, Nybro Uppvidinge and Lessebo in southern Sweden. They have century old history in the area, traced to the 17th century at least. The glassworks have become part of the Culture of Sweden; speciments can be found in many Swedish homes, recongnizable by a for small sticker at the bottom with the name Orrefors, Emmaboda, etc.

When touristing in the forested province of Smalandia in Sweden, at least one of the glassworks is often visited: the larger ones have adjacent musuems, they are open for visitors even in the glass blowing hall, looking down from a ledge; there is a serving of food, and of course good possiblities to shop for all kinds of glass products such as glasses, bowls, vases and peculiare glass adornments.

The more notable is Emmaboda that has an adjacent glass blowing high school, and Orrefors which is very large, and Kosta Glasbruk that is the basis for the Kosta Boda company. But every one of the glass blowers have their distinctive character and atmosphere.
