Grand Scale

Grand Scale refers to a scale model railroad with a track gauge of 10" (254 mm) or more. The locomotives used are powered by diesel or gasoline engines, live steam or electric motors. Grand scale railroads are large enough to transport dozens of persons. These large model railroads are often used in commercial settings, such as amusement park rides.
