Grobiņa

Grobiņa (-Latvian, German: Grobin) is a village in western Latvia. Its coordinates are (56°32′ N 21°11′ E).
During the Viking Age, Grobiņa was a centre of Scandinavian settlement on the Baltic Sea. At least 3,000 burial mounds are scattered among three cemeteries, with grave goods of central Swedish and Gotlandic type.
