Group Sounds is a genre of Japanese rock (J-Rock) music in the mid to late 1960s.
It was popular until 1970.
The most popular bands of that era were The Tigers, The Tempters, The Spiders, The Golden Cups, The Mops, The Blue Comets, The Rock Pilots, The Flowers Travellin' Band, The Funnies, The Wild Ones, The Happenings Four, and others.
