The Gulf of Oman is a strait that connects the Arabian Sea with the Persian Gulf. On the north coast is Iran (Persia) On the south coast are Oman in the east and United Arab Emirates for a short distance in the west. A beach on the gulf is the setting for a fictional battle in the video game Battlefield 2.
