Gulf of Panama

The Gulf of Panama is a gulf in the Pacific Ocean, near the southern coast of Panama, having a maximum width of 250 km and maximum depth of 220 metres.

The gulf itself also contains a few minor gulfs (Panama Bay, Gulf of Parita and Gulf of San Miguel) and it has a few islands (Las Perlas Island, José Island, Rey Island, etc) and on the coast there are a few important ports, such Panama City, La Palma, Panama, Chitrè.
